Working in conjunction with our sister company Genesis Diagnostics Ltd, CNS specialises in the field of immunodiagnostics, with the development and manufacture of kits to aid the diagnosis of autoimmune and infectious diseases. Our main focus however, is for the detection of immune reactions to food, often described as food intolerance or food sensitivity.
CNS pioneered the application of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)-based technology to food intolerance testing and using this scientifically proven technique, have developed a novel macroarray-based assay, Food Detective™ and a panel of microarray-based assays, Foodprint®. We are amongst the UK's leading manufacturers of these innovative and market-leading diagnostic tests, identifying specific foods that are causing IgG antibody production, which has been linked to a number of chronic conditions including eczema, migraine, asthma, depression and arthritis.
With a core competency in array-based technologies for laboratory and Point Of Care (POC) markets, CNS and Genesis have built a reputation for quality, innovation and delivery in its 20+ years of experience in the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry. We aim to provide our customers, whether healthcare professionals or the general public, with a wide range of high quality CE Marked tests, together with superior standards of service and technical support.
Our base at Littleport, in Cambridgeshire, is purpose-built and accommodates laboratories that are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certified. CNS is also a member of the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA).
